Of late I listen more to podcasts than my music on my pod. The winter months are always depressing to me and leaves me gasping for anything in english language or culture.
At the mo. other than everyday stories from NPR and some brit. comedy I have become addicted to 'Feast of fools'. I love comedy something rotten but being stuck in Germany this podcast is the kind of everday laugh out loud humour which only seems available in English speaking comedy! I sparkles.
Gay humour is crisp and Feast of fools, is a fine example of it...

Re: Any must have podcast suggestions?
Fri, December 23, 2005 - 9:27 AMWell I am Trinidadian, and I highly recommend Caribbean Free Radio.
It's a wonderful slice of Caribbean culture and Trini culture in particular. It's the Caribbean's first podcast, published by Georgia Popplewell.

Re: Any must have podcast suggestions?
Fri, December 23, 2005 - 3:21 PMSame here. Mostly listening to podcasts as well. Traffic is brutal here in South Florida. If you like Bluegrass music, a must is the Bluegrass Radio Show done by the Bluegrass Preservation Society in West Virginia. And if you like words and language, check out The Word Nerds. Good stuff there.
Oh yes, and Zencast is superb! -

Re: Any must have podcast suggestions?
Sun, August 20, 2006 - 2:30 PMWhen it comes to low key, electronic music, www.idyllicmusic.com is what I recommend. It's an English language cast with a large German listenership. Many have found my attempts at French and German pronounciation to be sidesplitingly funny.

Re: Any must have podcast suggestions?
Sun, May 4, 2008 - 9:20 PMThe two podcasts I look forward to every week are the Answer Bitch presented by E!
E! has an expert on hollywood and it's culture and she answers questions from listeners about how hollywood works.
The other is ABC's official LOST podcast ... but that's just me.
