I can't seem to be able to update my iPod. Everytime I connect it it begins iTunes begins updating the songs and then just stops. I've left it alone for hours but only come back to find it still frozen at the same point. I have an iPod with click wheel updated with the latest software. I've reset and restored it. I'm running iTunes 6.0.4. Any ideas on how I can get it functioning again?

I am having the same problem and just bought my ipod today, might just take it straight back to the shop, it's actually causing my computer to crash as well..
How long have you had yours for?

Back up your music and delete the Itunes program. Then re download the software. If that doesn't work, go to an older Itunes version as there may be some bugs in the new one. It's most likely software malfunctions that aren't working properly with your IPod. How old is your comp? Did you d/l windows sp/2? Dumb question but it matters . . : )
