I'm about to get a 'real car', and so I'm looking for actual iPod intergration in a car stereo. I'd probably be happy with just an audio auxilary input jack in the front of the unit. But I'm investigating also those solutions where the knobs on the deck are capable of browsing the folders of your iPod library. [maybe not the best idea...]

Any recommendations on makes and models of car stereo, in combination with adapters, which inteligently and intuitively navigate the iPod? Anythng better than lifting the iPod up in front of your face to navigate? We're talking about driver distraction here.
